Prix Jacques Tacussel Rules for the Prix Jacques Tacussel
SUBMISSION OF AWARD NOMINATION: All correspondence, whether by mail or email and including that for awards joint between ISE and other societies, should be sent to the ISE Office. Unsuccessful candidates can be re-nominated in a subsequent year.
The Prix Jacques Tacussel of the International Society of Electrochemistry was formerly donated by Dr. J. Tacussel. It may be awarded biennially to a person who has made an important contribution to an experimental electrochemical technique.
The prize consists of a certificate and the sum of 1000 Euro.
Nominations can be made by individuals or institutions. Candidates may not nominate themselves.
The nomination should consist of no more than 1000 words giving details of the relevant contribution of the individual. In addition, it should include at least two letters supporting the nomination. Forms for the submission of nominations are provided. A CD-ROM or a DVD containing the filled in forms and all required nomination documents, in either MS-WORD or PDF format, should be sent to the ISE Office. Alternatively, the nomination and the documents may be uploaded via FTP, following the instructions which may be obtained from the ISE Office (info@ise-online.org). Nominations submitted in printed form are no longer accepted.
The winner is expected to give a lecture at the next Annual ISE Meeting. ISE will pay for his/her registration and banquet fees.
