Bioelectrochemistry Prize of ISE Division 2

The Bioelectrochemistry Prize of ISE Division 2 may be awarded every two years to a scientist who has made an important contribution to the field of bioelectrochemistry.

Rules
  1. The Bioelectrochemistry Prize of ISE Division 2 may be awarded every two years to a scientist who has made an important contribution to the field of bioelectrochemistry.
  2. The prize consists of a certificate and the sum of 750 EUROS, which includes a contribution towards travel expenses for the winner to attend the ISE Meeting where the award will be presented. ISE will pay for his/her registration and banquet fees.
  3. Nominations can be made by individuals or institutions. Candidates are also allowed to apply on their own behalf.
  4. The winner is expected to attend the ISE Meeting where the award will be presented and to give a lecture at a symposium which is organized or co-organized by ISE Division 2 “Bioelectrochemistry” during the following year.
  5. The nomination/application should consist of no more than 1000 words giving details of the relevant contribution of the individual. Nominations/applications should be uploaded via the Submission Site (http://iseawards.ise-online.org/bio) and should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae of the nominee and copies of 5 scientific articles, judged to be the most significant in the candidate's production. All documents uploaded must be in PDF format.
  6. The prize winner is selected by a committee chaired by the chairperson of Division 2 “Bioelectrochemistry” and comprising 4 other members representing different geographic areas. These members shall be appointed each year by the chairperson, and must be distinguished scientists active in the field; re-nomination is possible.
